Cupid is on his way!

Valentine's Day is right around the corner.  I have been busy creating and painting my "Cupid" door hanger.  I love the way he turned out with the red and the darker red damask design.  I am also doing a pink with a darker pink damask design.  It has been raining here most of the day so today was a great day for staying in and painting.  Also for cleaning too.  My house was in much need of some cleaning.  When I start painting and cutting out signs it pretty much takes over and house work and laundry get so far behind.  Oh well!  I would rather create any day than clean! I have also added a cute hot pink and black flamingo on my etsy site.  I am already thinking about summer and how cute he would look out by the pool.  Also working on a mermaid!  Check them out at The Paisley Persimmon on etsy. com.

Roll Tide Roll!

I am so proud of the Alabama Crimson Tide for their victory as National Champions of the BCS.  The game was absolutely incredible.  I stayed up all night creating a door hanger celebrating the victory.  You can check it out at my etsy store.

My New Year's resolution is to be a better blogger.  I really enjoy this and I promise to be better this year about posting my latest projects.  One thing I am excited about is the upcoming Rattlesnake Rodeo the last weekend in March here in Opp Alabama.  I will be there in my booth selling my latest door hangers and yard signs with a few new items also.  Make plans to come on out and celebrate with us.  The booths and the entertainment are great!

Christmas is "Fast Approaching!"

Wow, I cannot believe that I have not posted a blog in so long!  It has been a hectic year!  The signs that I create have really taken off.  I did my first arts and crafts show in October at the Opp Fest in Opp Alabama and I absolutely loved it.  For my first time my sales were really good.  I am looking forward to doing more after the first of the year starting with the Rattlesnake Rodeo in Opp, Alabama.  It is the last weekend in March, so come on out!  There is always plenty to see and do.  Check me out on Etsy.com and see the whimsical Christmas signs for sale.  Still not too late to order!  I will try to do better with my postings.  I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

The Paisley Persimmon now has an Etsy Store!

The Paisley Persimmon now has items located on etsy.com.  Of course the store is listed as The Paisley Persimmon.  Just be sure to type in the complete name with no spaces and all lower case letters.  I only have a few items listed but more will come.  For no longer than I have been on it, I am pleased with the response.  So be sure and check it out.

Easter is approaching fast and I have been working mainly on Easter Yard Signs.  You can check those out on Etsy as well as some Easter sets for baby.  The Paisley Persimmon will also be doing wreaths for all seasons and will have some of those posted before long.  Remember anything can be customized to suit your color schemes so if you place orders just let me know if you want different colors, how you want it personalized, etc.  Thank you very much for choosing The Paisley Persimmon.

Fort Walton Beach Trip

I have been in Fort Walton Beach, Florida since Tuesday to attend my neice's graduation from Airman Leadership School.  She graduated last night and is now a Staff Sargent in the United States Air Force stationed at Eglin Air Force Base.  I am very proud of her and it was an honor to attend.  My sister flew in from Nashville to be with her daughter and we have had the best time visiting.  The Paisley Persimmon is about to be very busy preparing door hangers for Easter.  Get your orders in early.
